This post is kind of late since I started this challenge a few days ago. I am working on taking a photo a day of my daughter. Originally I wanted to do the 365 challenge aka known as 365 letters of love. but after breast feeding and adjusting to motherhood I was not even able to wrap my mind around doing this lol. So I decided that I would try 30 days first and go from there. Everyday she is growing and exploring new things so Enjoy as I share just a few moments.
So today was 67 degrees with not a lick of sunlight. Mr. Sun wasn't having it at all! No matter how hard I sang and did my dance he just wouldn't come out to play. I am a no flash type of girl when it comes to my images. So needless to say Mr. sun and I used to be best friends. Me and Mr. Flash became friends on today.
Then lets talk about the clouds. I have found that a cloudy day tends to render really good diffused lighting. Oh but not today, it was that "I want to sleep all day type of cloudy". Or that "Iam gonna mess up your photos type of cloudy" or even the "I am gonna make it look like it's gonna rain or Nuh" type cloudy. Over all the pictures came out well. I made a new photo friend today London, She loves bubbles! September 20th, 2013 changed my life! This is the day that my little love bug Kai'lee Marie was born. I still remember the moment I first laid eyes on her, my heart was filled with so much joy. Motherhood is the scariest most rewarding job any woman can have. Now that she is almost 8 months old and trying to stand on her own I fully realizing how important it is to capture moments with her.
Above is a photo of me and her on the beach. In that moment I couldn't do anything but thank God for all he has done for us. So as a little gift to her I am doing a series of photos with letters to her from me. I am so excited about this project. So be on the look out for more post about letters to love bug. |
